Build Your Own Google Cardboard “Urban Hike”!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

I’m not denying that there are some awesome Google Cardboard friendly apps and videos out there, but wouldn’t it be great if we could start creating our own “Urban Hikes” complete with arrows, 3d text, links to websites, and even questions for the user? In this session, we’ll learn to use the Google Street View app on an Apple or Android device in combination with a free website to create our own “Urban Hike” that can be shared and used with or without Google Cardboard in a variety of educational ways. Not sure what an “Urban Hike” is? If you have access to Google Cardboard, download the Google Cardboard app on your device, insert it into your Google Cardboard, and check out the Urban Hike demos. No Google Cardboard? Well then, check out a Google Street View experience in Google Maps and you should have an idea of the basics of what we’re creating.
