Everyday, my fourth grade students share drafts of their work with each other in order to make improvements. I also regularly solicit feedback from them to improve my instruction and schedule. In order to make the exercise positive and productive, we keep three simple rules, follow a strict protocol, and rely on some helpful sentence frames.
